I thought everything was good after the muriatic acid. Everything looked good with the borescope. I put a couple gallons of gas in with a bit of Stabil and moved on to rebuilding the Mikuni HSR 42. Certainly needs a fresh petcock but I was surprised by all the rust. Might need to go with the complete Por-15 treatment. I really don’t want to line it and possibly have to go through this again.
Can’t seem to escape the rust.
